The store
Revzone’s parts store: Hondata, Brembo, HKS and other performance brands, shipped Australia-wide. The problem every independent parts store has is that brand searches go to distributors, marketplaces and eBay. A store that only exists on Shopify ranks for nothing.
What we did
Instead of trying to make the store rank on its own, we pointed the workshop’s authority at it. The workshop site already ranks for the platforms and brands, so every brand partner page, stage package and published dyno result deep-links to the exact store collection that supplied the parts. The store stopped being an island.
Results
- Clicks from Google are up 49% in the month since the redesign, and still climbing month on month.
- Search is the store’s biggest traffic source: 6,559 of 13,259 sessions in the last 90 days (49%), ahead of direct.
- The Hondata range sits at #2 on Google with 200 clicks in six weeks, and top-5 positions on other brand searches like Brembo.
Why it worked
E-commerce SEO usually means grinding out product descriptions and hoping. This worked because the authority already existed one domain over: a workshop that publishes real dyno results with those exact parts fitted is the most credible possible link source for a parts store. If you sell parts and also install them, the installs are the SEO.
